Meditation - a practice in
which an individual trains the mind or induces a mode of consciousness, either to realize some benefit or as an end in itself. One use of meditation is to still / focus the thoughts so that subconscious thoughts and programs can emerge, revealing patterns.
Affirmation - a declaration that something is true, and is the practice of positive thinking. Affirmations are used to replace limited or negative thoughts and patterns that we have in our beliefs, thoughts, and attitudes about life. The use of the phrase "I am..." is the most powerful statement we make in our lives. Careless thoughts and word Choices can create quite significant undesired effects.
Affirmative prayer - a form of prayer or a metaphysical technique that is focused on a positive outcome rather than a negative situation. For example, a person who is experiencing some form of illness would focus the prayer on the desired state of perfect health and affirm this desired intention "as if already happened" rather than identifying the illness and then asking God for help to eliminate it.
Visioning - an advanced spiritual technology that trains us to open up to our Higher Purpose, to be more in tune with our intuition and the language of the soul, and become willing to act upon this Insight. The most common visioning technique was developed and taught by Dr. Reverend Michael Beckwith of the Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles, California.
